Application area

Thyomethylating agent in organic synthesis;
Well soluble sulfur and often used in gas wells with high sulfur content;
Added to pyrolysis feedstock to prevent formation of coke, carbon monoxide and tube corrosion in pyrolysis furnaces, which extends the life of the furnaces;
Sulphidizing agent for refinery catalysts with low decomposition temperature on CoMo, NiMo and NiW catalysts.
